What We Do

Ecoshelter is concentrating on three key areas:

1) Ecoshelter Generic Solutions 

Ecoshelter will work with a number of partners to develop a range of generic Post Disaster Shelter Solutions. It will stockpile materials regionally in areas at risk and will train specialist teams and local labour to be able to deploy them as quickly as possible as part of any internationally co-ordinated effort to erect emergency shelter for communities in need.

2) Ecoshelter Community Development Projects

Ecoshelter will work with partners such as Rotary International, Architects for Aid and

Practical Action to assist in the transitional stage of community regeneration and economic redevelopment. For more information, click here.

3) Ecoshelter Education

Ecoshelter is establishing links with Universities around the World to help create, promote and fund post disaster reconstruction engineering, architecture and design courses and course materials and to build the capacity for sustainable community regeneration and development.
